Full job description

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Automotive Photographer & Videographer to support our busy used car operation across the Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Leapmotor brands.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for photography, videography, social media, and content creation. You will play a key role in helping our dealerships showcase vehicles effectively online, ensuring stock is presented to the highest standard while creating engaging content that drives vehicle enquiries, brand awareness, and sales performance.

The automotive retail landscape is evolving rapidly, with video content becoming one of the most effective and highest-performing formats across social media platforms. Our short-form video content has consistently delivered some of our strongest engagement and reach in recent months, and we see this as a key area for future growth.

We are therefore looking for someone who can not only produce high-quality vehicle photography but also create engaging video content that showcases our vehicles, promotions, dealership activities, and customer experiences.

Due to the nature of the business, occasional weekend working may be required to support dealership events, vehicle launches, content creation opportunities, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Photography & Presentation

Photograph used and approved vehicles to a high standard for online advertising.
Upload vehicle images, specifications, and descriptions accurately and efficiently.
Edit and enhance vehicle photographs to maintain a professional online presence.
Ensure vehicle stock is advertised promptly and consistently across all channels.
Monitor advert quality and identify opportunities to improve vehicle presentation.
Work closely with sales and management teams to maximise vehicle visibility and performance.
Maintain accurate records and ensure vehicle information is kept up to date.

Videography & Social Media Content Creation

Produce high-quality vehicle walkaround videos and promotional content.
Create engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Film, edit, and publish content that showcases vehicles, dealership events, new arrivals, special offers, and behind-the-scenes activity.
Develop creative content ideas that increase audience engagement and vehicle visibility.
Monitor social media trends and adapt content to maximise reach and performance.
Work with management to develop a consistent content strategy across all dealership brands.
Capture content across multiple dealership locations and events.
Analyse content performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement, enquiries, and online reach.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Strong photography and content creation skills.
Experience filming and editing video content for digital and social media platforms.
Understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Confident using computers and digital platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Full UK driving licence.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Ability to create engaging content that aligns with brand standards while delivering strong audience engagement.

Desirable

Photography or videography experience within a commercial environment.
Experience using photo and video editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Experience creating engaging short-form social media content.
Experience managing social media channels for a business or organisation.
An interest in the automotive industry.
