We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for hairstyling, colour techniques, and customer service, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Ideally candiate should have at least 2 years hairdressing experience
Actual working hours to be agreed to suit both parties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colour treatments, and styling
- Assist clients with colour consultations and product recommendations
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client check-in/out
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and salon areas
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to promote skill development and team cohesion
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a comprehensive portfolio of work
- NVQ Level 2 as a requirement and Level 3 preferably
- Skills in barbering, colouring techniques, and styling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance client experience and sales
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle appointments efficiently
- Professional attitude with a passion for ongoing learning and industry trends and good team skills
