Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our bar area, toilets, outside of premises and our lovely 3 hotel bedrooms, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation, whether experienced or eager to develop their skills further.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of our premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in all areas, including bathrooms and communal spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous service quality
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Adhere to client-specific instructions and confidentiality requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures
