Peak Wildlife Park is a wildlife conservation centre located in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are dedicated to conservation, education, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors.
As one of the region's leading family attractions, our busiest periods are during school holidays, weekends, and seasonal events. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Park Attendant to join our team and help maintain the high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and visitor experience that our guests expect.
The Role
This is a hands-on, outdoor role that plays an important part in the day-to-day operation of the park.
As a Park Attendant, you will be responsible for helping ensure the park remains clean, safe, welcoming, and well-presented for visitors. Duties will include directing and parking vehicles during busy periods, litter picking, emptying bins, maintaining public areas, and supporting the wider operations team with a variety of tasks across the site.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is happy to get stuck into a variety of practical tasks throughout the day.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing and parking visitor vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assisting with traffic management during busy periods and special events
- Emptying bins and waste receptacles throughout the park
- Litter picking and maintaining cleanliness across visitor areas
- Supporting with general site presentation and housekeeping duties
- Supporting other departments with practical tasks when needed
- Providing a friendly and helpful presence for visitors
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
- Working flexibly across the park as required by the business
- Acting as an ambassador for Peak Wildlife Park and its conservation work

- Ability to commute reliably to Peak Wildlife Park
Desirable
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, cleaning, facilities, visitor attractions, leisure, or outdoor work
- Experience directing vehicles or working in customer-facing environments
- Basic maintenance or practical skills
- Interest in wildlife, conservation, or visitor attractions
- Full UK driving licence
No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.
