Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Director of Research, Ethics, and Policy to lead our organization’s research initiatives, uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, and shape impactful policies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of research strategies, ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, and foster a culture of integrity and excellence. Your leadership will drive innovative scientific and clinical research efforts, ensuring that all projects adhere to regulatory standards and best practices. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of research ethics and policy development on a global scale.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, execution, and oversight of scientific and clinical research programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
Supervise research teams, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth and maintain high-quality standards
Develop, review, and update research policies in accordance with international ethical standards such as ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Oversee data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations
Manage laboratory operations related to clinical trials and research projects, including overseeing data management systems
Ensure organizational adherence to compliance management protocols across all research activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote ethical practices in research initiatives

Requirements

Proven supervising experience leading multidisciplinary teams in scientific or clinical research environments
Extensive background in scientific research with a focus on clinical trials or related fields
Demonstrated laboratory experience supporting clinical or biomedical research projects
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards; certification from a recognized issuer for CA or equivalent is preferred
Experience in data collection methodologies, project management, and compliance oversight
Excellent understanding of research ethics policies and regulatory frameworks governing clinical studies
A degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline; advanced degrees are highly desirable
