Full job description

Vivisol are currently hiring for a Production Filler to fill cylinders with oxygen for consumption by for NHS patients. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team to complete these duties safely and efficiently, hence enabling that function to ensure a stable and constant supply of various filled assets to the Warehouse and Logistics function.

We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), excellent training and development programs, matched contribution pension scheme to capped percentages per position level, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, yearly bonus scheme, as well as a starting salary of £28,197.

Hours: 42.5 hour week - Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm

This role is based in Bedford with free on-site parking. Full training will be provided for all new starters and an extensive programme put in place.

Primary duties & areas of responsibility of the Production Filler:

Manual handling of cylinders, and liquid oxygen units (LOX), of different sizes and weights.
To prepare cylinders for filling, including pre checks, de labelling and inspection following standard operating procedures.
To prepare liquid oxygen ( LOX BU’s ) units for filling , including pre checks, de labelling and inspection following standard operating procedures and in an outside environment throughout the year.
Lifting cylinders in and out of decks throughout the day.
Liaise with Quality persons to ensure all filled products comply with quality procedures and licence agreements and Good Manufacturing Practice.
Liaise with Warehouse staff to ensure correct products are allocated to designated areas.
To carry out any other general duties as necessary and in accordance with requirements of the business.

Education, Qualifications and expertise required for the Production Filler:

Will require an Standard DBS
Previous warehouse, and/or production experience is required
