Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' premises are safe, clean, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in commercial settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety standards
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed
Follow designated cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively in accordance with training guidelines
Ensure all work areas are left tidy and presentable at the end of each shift

Qualifications

Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills and reliability
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light equipment or supplies
