This role provides the perfect blend of advanced clinical practice, team leadership, service development and person centred care.
As a Senior Practice Clinical Pharmacist, you will lead and support a cluster of GP practices, ensuring the delivery of high quality pharmaceutical care across the area. You will deliver advanced clinical input, provide mentorship for developing pharmacists, and help shape how pharmacotherapy services evolve locally. With independent prescribing fully embedded across the service, you will have extensive opportunities to use your clinical expertise every day.

You will:
Deliver high quality clinical pharmacy services across GP practices
Undertake advanced medication and polypharmacy reviews as an independent prescriber
Offer expert medicines advice to clinicians and patients
Lead staff development, training and mentorship
Support service planning, evaluation, innovation and quality improvement
Work collaboratively across the primary care and community pharmacy interface
Travel across the Levenmouth area as required, with occasional travel to other areas in fife

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
