An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic evolving Machining Department and be part of an ambitious, evolving family business.
The Opportunity: We are looking for a high quality, ambitious and motivated machinists, CNC Millers or CNC Turners to work in our precision Machining Department at our modern purpose-built facility on Estate Road 2, Grimsby, as part of our dynamic and growing business.
Good rates of pay, excellent facilities, terms and conditions along with a generous pension are available with this full-time role. Flexible Working (4 Day Week): We offer flexible working routines, 38.5 hour standard week, early start or late start or 38.5 hours over a 4 day compressed week, as suits the incumbent best.
The Individual: Must be punctual with a professional attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop with the business. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a full-time qualified machinist/tradesperson.
The Role. Will see the incumbent:
· Setting/programming and operating a range of CNC millers and CNC lathes.
· Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.
· Working to precise tolerances.
· Requiring ability to confidently use hand measuring equipment to accurately measure parts.
· Produce quality components and work to exacting standards.
· Working/programming on Fusion 360.
· Need to be confident in working alone or as part of a team.
Additional training is available to the right candidate, with the opportunity to be trained up on our other equipment if this is of interest.
