Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter (KP) / Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be a key support to kitchen operations, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role is perfect for someone looking to build experience in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment while playing a vital part in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety across the kitchen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE...

Kitchen porter duties – maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen at all times
Taking deliveries and assisting with prep work – ensuring ingredients are checked, stored correctly, and ready for service
Supporting all kitchen sections during service, including washing up, waste management, and general upkeep
Ensuring all hygiene, cleaning schedules, and food safety standards are consistently met and maintained
Participation in in-house and external training to support your development and help keep the whole team performing at its best
