OPERATIONS LEAD

Location: Five Oak Green, Kent

About Alpha Wholesale

Alpha Wholesale is a rapidly growing HVAC distributor supplying contractors across London, the South East and beyond.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse, transport and logistics functions, ensuring we continue to deliver the exceptional service our customers expect.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, logistics and distribution activities.

You will lead the warehouse and driver teams, improve operational performance, drive efficiencies and ensure customers receive a first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all warehouse, logistics and transport operations
Manage warehouse, yard and driver teams
Ensure stock accuracy and operational efficiency
Develop and improve operational processes
Drive productivity, quality and service improvements
Manage third-party logistics providers where required
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
Lead recruitment, training and performance management within the department
Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvement plans
Work closely with Sales, Customer Care and Procurement to ensure excellent customer service

What We're Looking For

Strong operational leadership experience
Experience managing warehouse and logistics teams
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Proven ability to improve processes and drive performance
Strong people management and coaching skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
Experience within wholesale, distribution, logistics, construction products or HVAC would be advantageous
