Full job description

Bookkeeper / Accounts

We are looking for an organised and ambitious individual to join our team. We are looking for someone with significant bookkeeping experience who can keep accounts in order. The role requires someone who can use their own initiative in resolving queries and problem-solving historic transaction discrepancies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting systems.
Compiles and analyses a variety of complex accounting and statistical information
Payroll
Generating sales invoices.
Chasing outstanding balances.
Creation of aged debt reports to ensure all aged debt is followed up on and collected.
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts.
Prepare the accounts for the accountant.
Will process inbound calls to the right department.
Flexibility to complete other tasks from time to time
Is willing to learn new applications that will improve the business.

Qualities

Excellent attention to detail
Confident communicating with senior heads in the business
Ability to work under own initiative
Willingness to participate in broader company meetings and activities
