At DCY Swim School, we're dedicated to helping children develop confidence, essential life skills and a lifelong love of swimming through high-quality, engaging lessons. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a qualified Level 2 SwimTeacher to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, takes pride in delivering excellent swimming lessons and wants to be part of a positive team environment.
The Role
You'll be teaching structured swimming lessons to children of varying ages and abilities, ensuring every swimmer feels supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their potential.
Core hours we require:
Fridays: 9:30am – 1:45pm
There will also be additional hours to work by covering lessons during evenings, weekends and school holidays. This will be discussed during the interview process.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, enthusiastic and professional
- A genuine passion for teaching children to swim
Desirable
- National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) or equivalent
- Current First Aid qualification
- Previous experience teaching a wide range of abilities and ages
