Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista (weekend) to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, matcha, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the smooth running of the café during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a positive customer experience and support the overall operation of the premises.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial to assist with light food handling tasks.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
