Overview
Requirement: An individual that has previous working experience in running a wide format digital printer, whether it be textiles, paper, signage etc
At Magic Textiles, we are a growing digital textile/wallpaper printing company. All printing is done on site, we manufacture the fabric that we print into kitchen and home textiles. As we have installed more digital printing machines, we are looking for an extra worker to join our team to assist with the printing aspect
We are seeking a skilled Digital Printing Machine Technician to join our team. You would be required to run our digital printing machines, this includes 2 x dye sublimation paper printers, 2 x EFI Reggiani printers and our Canon Colorado wallpaper printer. You are not required to have printed with these exact machines, training will be provided, however we are only looking to hire an individual that has experience in running a wide format digital printer, whether it be textiles, paper, signage etc
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance of digital printing machines to optimise performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Changing of textile rolls and paper rolls frequently
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure colour accuracy and print consistency, this would include daily test draws
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance logs.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.

- Required to have worked with digital printers before at a skilled level
- An understanding of what pass to print different jobs on depending on the design type. (If you have printed before, this will be an understood requirement)
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining complex machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, often involving large or bulky items.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control documentation. You will be required to update a live spreadsheet listing what jobs you have printed each day to ensure production runs smoothly
Pay: £26,436.80-£30,000.00 per year
