We’re seeking a friendly, ambitious pair to join as site wardens, managing the daily running of a high-quality touring caravan and motorhome site. You’ll deliver excellent guest experiences while ensuring the park operates safely, efficiently and to brand standards.
About Us
Chatsworth Caravan Park is our newest venture, recently launched in the Peak District, Derbyshire. It forms part of Estate Escapes, the award-winning hotels and inns division of the Devonshire Group. Our purpose is to help guests connect with nature, heritage and wellbeing, while enjoying outstanding experiences rooted in quality and a strong sense of place.
The Role
As wardens you will be the public face of the site, acting as hosts, supervisors, problem solvers and caretakers, with shared accountability for operational standards, guest satisfaction and site presentation.
This role is multifaceted and can be divided into two parts:
1. Front of house and administration – This involves creating the best guest experience and making sure all guests receive excellent customer service from the moment they book to when they leave the site at the end of their stay. You will handle bookings, payments, and enquiries to ensure customers are well informed and comfortable during their stay. Additionally, you will be first response to any issues which arise, resolving guest issues calmly and diplomatically, enforcing site rules with fairness and tact.
2. Grounds and maintenance – This involves overseeing the day to day running of the site and making sure everything looks and functions at the highest standard as well as complying with health and safety requirements and procedures. You will undertake routine maintenance, minor repairs, and gardening and be on call if any issues arise with the facilities.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a reliable, professional and hands-on pair with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You’ll be organised, approachable and able to work collaboratively to maintain high standards and create a welcoming, safe environment.
Experience in site operations, hospitality or leisure, as well as familiarity with caravans/motorhomes, is desirable. Flexibility is essential, including evenings for patrol and on-call duties.
What We Offer
This is a live in role, therefore accommodation will be provided on site. You will also have access to the Chatsworth and Bolton Abbey Estate via a colleague pass, entitling you to a wide range of discounts and events across the business.
Pay: Up to £55,000.00 per year
