Experienced Fence Installer

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Fence Installer to join us. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality fencing projects across domestic, agricultural, and commercial settings.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fencing systems while ensuring excellent workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction on every job. This role will also include occasional farm help duties.

Key Duties

Install a variety of fencing products, including timber, concrete, metal, stock, and mesh fencing.
Set out and prepare sites, ensuring fence lines are measured and positioned accurately.
Carry out fence repairs, replacements, and maintenance work as required.
Use hand-held and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
Liaise with customers on-site to understand project requirements and provide professional advice when needed.
Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean, organised, and presentable.
Adhoc farm duties to be discussed at interview.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a lead fencing role.
Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Competent in the use of fencing tools, equipment, and machinery.
Ability to set posts, line, level, and plumb fencing accurately.
Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to site conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
MUST have own transport to get to our rural base. You will not be required to use your own vehicle to and from jobs, we have a work vehicle.

Desirable

Valid CSCS card.
Experience with tactor mounted post banger is an advantage
Valid Chainsaw Certificate

This is a self-employed position and pay will depend on experience and ability.
