Your Role
This is a diverse, hands-on surveying role that goes beyond utilities.
While a core part of your work will involve underground utility surveys, you’ll also support a wider range of surveys including topographic and general geospatial survey projects.
Due to the inherently variable nature of utility survey workloads, this role is ideal for someone who:
· enjoys variety in their work
· is comfortable working across multiple survey disciplines
· is flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct underground utility surveys using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment
· Undertake topographic and general surveying work as required
· Deliver accurate, high-quality survey data across a variety of project types
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to meet project objectives
· Travel to sites across the UK (including occasional overnight stays)
· Maintain strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in utility surveying.
- Experience or interest in topographic / general surveying (highly desirable)
- Competence with industry-standard equipment (e.g. GPR, CAT & Genny, GPS/Total Station)
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- A team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
