Full job description

Brightstar is seeking an ambitious, passionate, and relationship-driven Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to lead the development of our fundraising, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and partnership strategy from the ground up.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to truly shape and grow a function within a purpose-led organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building the strategy, developing meaningful partnerships, identifying new income streams, and embedding a culture of collaboration and impact across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes partnership development, someone who can confidently champion the work of Brightstar Foundation, communicate our impact with authenticity, and inspire organisations, funders, and supporters to become part of our journey

Key responsibilities:

Fundraising & Income Generation

Develop and implement Brightstar Foundation’s fundraising strategy, identifying both short and long-term income opportunities.

Build new unrestricted and restricted income streams through trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, donations, and community fundraising.

Identify and secure CSR partnerships with businesses aligned to Brightstar Foundation’s mission and values.

Create compelling funding applications, partnership proposals, and impact reports.

Develop and manage fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, and stewardship activities.

Meet agreed fundraising and partnership income targets.

Research and pursue innovative funding opportunities that support organisational growth and sustainability.

Partnerships & Relationship Management

Build, nurture, and manage meaningful relationships with corporate partners, funders, local stakeholders, and community organisations.

Act as a passionate ambassador for Brightstar Foundation, promoting the organisation’s work, vision, and impact externally.

Develop strategic partnerships that create long-term social value and opportunities for the communities we support.

Attend networking events, partnership meetings, and community engagement opportunities to raise the profile of Brightstar Foundation.

Work collaboratively with the wider Brightstar team to identify opportunities for partnership growth and community impact.

Key responsibilities:

Marketing, Communications & Impact Support the promotion of fundraising campaigns, partnership activities, and organisational achievements through social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.

Help communicate the impact of Brightstar Foundation through storytelling, case studies, and engagement content.

Ensure partners and funders receive high-quality communication, reporting, and engagement opportunities.

Support the development of materials that showcase the organisation’s outcomes, projects, and community impact.

Strategy & Development Work alongside the Head of Foundation to shape and develop operational outputs, strategic priorities, and future opportunities.

Help establish systems and processes for managing fundraising activity, partnerships, pipelines, and reporting.

Monitor fundraising performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular progress updates.

Contribute to the wider development and growth of Brightstar Foundation.
