Full job description

SAS Utilities are a leading multi-disciplined contractor within the Utilities sector. We are seeking a reliable and organised Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a busy office environment to support the delivery of utilities projects across various contracts. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, strong administrative skills, and have proficiency in various computerised tasks.

What you'll be doing

Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
Forecasting & Financial Control: Lead cost forecasting, budget tracking, and commercial reporting to support project delivery.
Main Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with delivery teams to manage contractor relationships and ensure commercial alignment.
Risk & Change Management: Maintain risk registers, manage change control, and support dispute resolution.

Skills

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Strong expertise in cost control techniques and financial management of projects.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Recognised professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is highly desirable. This position offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about delivering financially successful projects through meticulous planning and control.
Proven ability to manage contracts within the multi utilities sector.
Experience with Xero, Cemar and management systems.
