About the Role
We’re looking for energetic and friendly Customer Service Assistants to join our petrol station team. This role is about more than just operating the till — you’ll be the face of our business, making sure every customer leaves with a smile and a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a customer service Assistant – greet customers warmly, assist with queries, and go the extra mile
- Operate the till accurately and handle cash/card payments confidently
- Promote offers and upsell products in a polite and professional way
- Keep the shop floor, bakery, and forecourt stocked, clean, and safe
- Prepare and serve bakery items, ensuring freshness at all times
- Complete cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment
- Represent Shell brand by wearing a clean uniform and professional appearance
- Support your team and contribute to smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For
- A natural people-person with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Positive attitude with energy and enthusiasm
- Retail, cashier, or hospitality experience preferred (but not essential – full training provided)
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
