We operate Volkswagen, Skoda, SEAT and CUPRA dealerships, all conveniently located at Heathfield, Ayr. The Service and Aftersales department is vital part of success for our business, within which we have an exciting opportunity to expand our team of Parts Advisors.

As a Parts Apprentice you will be teamed up with an experienced Parts Advisor who you'll work closely with day to day and you'll be learning tasks on the job, while achieving a nationally recognized qualification.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, ideal for individuals starting their career and eager to learn on the job. The desired outcome is the Apprentice Parts Advisor becomes a valued member of our established and successful parts team.

Your duties will vary from day to day and could include:

Assist customers in identifying and sourcing vehicle parts efficiently - face-to-face, online and via telephone.
Manage the order and return of parts stock with timeliness and accuracy.
Identify, source and allocate vehicle parts.
Process payment transactions – cash, card, and account sales.
Warehousing duties are also required - picking orders, putting stock away, general housekeeping.
Collaborate with technicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
Contribute to a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Solving customer and workshop problems/enquires and following these up to a point of conclusion i.e. solve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry best practices.

About You -

What do I need to apply -

To be confident, communicative, reliable and eager to learn.
Computer literate and technically proficient.
A desire work as part of a team in a practical environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Gained, or be working towards, National 4/5 A-C in Maths, English and Technical subject.
No prior industry experience required as full support, development and training will be provided.
A keen interest in the automotive industry would be an asset.

Drivers license would be beneficial but not essential
