The Service and Aftersales department is vital part of success for our business, within which we have an exciting opportunity to expand our team of Parts Advisors.
As a Parts Apprentice you will be teamed up with an experienced Parts Advisor who you'll work closely with day to day and you'll be learning tasks on the job, while achieving a nationally recognized qualification.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, ideal for individuals starting their career and eager to learn on the job. The desired outcome is the Apprentice Parts Advisor becomes a valued member of our established and successful parts team.
Your duties will vary from day to day and could include:
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing vehicle parts efficiently - face-to-face, online and via telephone.
- Manage the order and return of parts stock with timeliness and accuracy.
- Identify, source and allocate vehicle parts.
- Process payment transactions – cash, card, and account sales.
- Warehousing duties are also required - picking orders, putting stock away, general housekeeping.
- Collaborate with technicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction.
- Solving customer and workshop problems/enquires and following these up to a point of conclusion i.e. solve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry best practices.

What do I need to apply -
- To be confident, communicative, reliable and eager to learn.
- Computer literate and technically proficient.
- A desire work as part of a team in a practical environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Gained, or be working towards, National 4/5 A-C in Maths, English and Technical subject.
- No prior industry experience required as full support, development and training will be provided.
- A keen interest in the automotive industry would be an asset.
Drivers license would be beneficial but not essential
