Full job description

Western House Hotel & Ayr Racecourse is looking to recruit Kitchen Porters to work in our kitchen assisting our Chefs in offering a top class service for our guests. About the role of Kitchen Porter;

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
Collect and wash up pots and pans.
Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
Unload food and equipment deliveries.
Keep the storeroom organised.
Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

You MUST be reliable and able to have transport to work at sometimes unsocial hours (earliest start 7am, late finishes sometimes midnight/1am).

This role would also be suitable for a student who wishes to progress in a quality, hospitality environment - shifts can be suited around your studies. Excellent career progression for the right candidate working as part of an award-winning kitchen team.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. For your hard-work you shall also receive;
