Job Overview

Apreco are seeking an Assembly Supervisor to join their team based in Bishops Frome (WR6 5AY).

Apreco is the market leader for the design and manufacture of air pressure control devices for the Healthcare and Fire sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily assembly and goods in/out operations, ensuring manufacturing targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate production staff.
Monitor workflow and minimise downtime.
Solve operational issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Visual and physical inspections of work.
Ensure goods are safely packed for transport.
Oversee training.
Handle delivery discrepancies, delays, or damaged goods.
Monitor and report on production KPIs.
Ensure all production and process recording systems are completed accurately.

Skills

The ideal candidate will:

Understand manufacturing processes including planning.
Have experience in a supervisor or team leader position.
Be able to read engineering drawings.
Understand health and safety procedures.
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and solve problems.
Be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Be able to multitask a varied workload with robust time-management skills.
Have a good knowledge of MS Office/ERP systems.
