The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Warehouse Operative (nights) at InPost Newstrade in Coventry!

Location: Unit 2 Imperial Park, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry CV3 4PB

Shift Pattern: SUNDAY -THURSDAY

Hours: 22.00pm - 06.30am

Salary: £30,025.25p/a

What you’ll be doing:

Managing the full Goods In process, including receiving inbound deliveries, checking paperwork, and ensuring all stock is logged accurately in line with company procedures

Carrying out detailed inspections of incoming goods, verifying quantities, checking for damages, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards before they enter the warehouse

Breaking down and unloading deliveries using safe manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment, ensuring all items are handled with care and precision

Allocating and labelling stock correctly, updating systems, and moving products to the right storage locations to keep inventory accurate and easy to access

Maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised Goods In area, supporting smooth workflow, reducing hazards, and promoting an efficient working environment

Following all company policies and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety expectations and maintaining consistently high standards

Communicating with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve delivery discrepancies, report issues, and keep everyone informed about stock movements

Playing a key role in quality control, identifying defects, reporting concerns, and ensuring only approved, high-standard products enter the warehouse system
