Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Brake Press Operator to join our team in Huntingdon. This role is vital in ensuring the precise fabrication of our custom stair formwork components, supporting our commitment to quality and innovation in construction manufacturing.
Responsibilities

Operate brake press machines to shape sheet metal components according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to design standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production targets.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating brake press machines or similar sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
Skilled in using hand tools and tooling for metalworking.
Good math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of welding, grinding, or fabrication is advantageous but not essential.
Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance.
