Electrician – £40,000 including Paid Travel & Company Van

Best Electrical and Renewables Ltd

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our growing team, covering the Home Counties and London. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, paid travel time, and a company van.

You will be working across commercial and retail premises, carrying out a mix of maintenance and installation work as part of a professional and supportive team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 per year (including paid travel time and excluding overtime)
Location: Home Counties and London (applicants must live in Hertfordshire)

Job Description
The successful candidate will undertake a range of electrical works, including:

Reactive maintenance
Planned and preventative maintenance
Minor installation works

Experience or knowledge of solar PV installations would be advantageous, but is not essential. Training can be provided.

Requirements

City & Guilds qualifications, including 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
Full, clean UK driving licence
Must reside within Hertfordshire
Ability to work independently and to a high standard
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to support, mentor, and assist in training apprentices
