Full job description

Environment: A busy office, which is relaxed and supportive

About the role: Alternative Energy is recruiting for an organised and proactive person to join our team. We’re looking for someone to help with our accounts and admin, providing support for our office manager and directors as required. The role is based in our modern office in Dromore, Co. Tyrone. You’ll be reporting directly to the office manager.

Customer service: You’ll need to confidently answer incoming phone calls from potential customers and suppliers, giving information where needed and referring on to other members of the team.
Admin: You’ll be supporting with the day-to-day admin requirements of the business, helping with paperwork associated with solar PV systems across NI & ROI.
Financial support: You’ll be responsible for uploading purchase invoices to our online accounting software, ensuring that stock orders match with customer orders
HR support: You’ll be supporting our office manager with training related admin; ensuring training is up to date and enrolling team members on relevant courses as and when required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an admin role within an office

Skills: Strong IT skills, with proficient use of Microsoft products

Software: Prior experience with Pipedrive and/or Xero is desirable, however training will be provided

People skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. A friendly, approachable person who’s comfortable working within a lively office environment.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: £24,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
