4-day working week: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:15pm

About the Role:
Join JMS Metaltec, a fast-growing sheet metal subcontract manufacturer, as a Manufacturing / Production Administrator. This is an office-based role that combines administration, planning and support within our engineering office. You’ll be working daily with spreadsheets, components & materials lists, customer drawings, and internal systems. Full training is provided on all specialist software and processes.

If you enjoy structured, detail-focused work and are looking for a role with real variety and genuine progression; this role is an ideal opportunity. Our 4-day working week and strong benefits package make JMS an employer of choice in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

Review customer drawings and documents to create job records, parts lists, materials, and processes.
Group and organise jobs to make efficient use of materials and resources.
Use planning software (full training provided) to prepare jobs for production.
Maintain scheduling spreadsheets with up-to-date data.
Liaise with buyers, programmers, and production staff as required.

What We’re Looking For:

Good Excel skills (comfortable working with structured spreadsheets).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical, process-driven mindset with problem-solving ability.
Organised, structured, and comfortable working with deadlines.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering admin, production planning, or CAD is desirable but not required - but full training will be provided.
