The Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. The role will involve working across a range of customer sites, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), breakdown support, and contributing to improvement projects.

You will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Provide breakdown support in a timely and efficient manner
Assist with installation and upgrade projects
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Essential Criteria

Time-served apprenticeship with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
Minimum 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in a similar maintenance role
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full, clean UK driving licence

Desirable Criteria

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) training
Experience within food manufacturing or other fast-paced production environments
Welding/fabrication experience
PLC fault-finding experience
