DS Refrigeration is a leading supplier, installer and service provider of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment across Northern Ireland and beyond. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our expanding team.

The Role
As a Refrigeration Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment. You'll work across various sectors including hospitality, retail, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and food production, helping our customers keep their businesses running smoothly.
Every day brings new challenges, from routine preventative maintenance to emergency breakdowns and complex fault diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs.
- Commission equipment where required following repairs.
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
- Advise customers on equipment performance and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with current health & safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on every site visit.
- Represent DS Refrigeration to the highest standard.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- F-Gas Certification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of commercial refrigeration controls and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
- CSR Card.
- Experience working with cold rooms, bottle coolers, display refrigeration, ice machines and HVAC systems.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
