Vehicle Technician

Location: Bangor, Northern Ireland

Salary: Highly Competitive – Pay Based on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

At Mellons Hyundai, we are looking for a dedicated Technician to join our workshop. Join our family run business that has been working in the heart of Bangor for over 50 years. When you join us, you will get exclusive access to the official Hyundai Training Pathway, giving you the opportunity, support, and resources to progress all the way to becoming a fully certified Hyundai Master Technician.

What You Will Be Doing

Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest manufacturer and safety standards.
Completing vehicle health checks and providing accurate reports for the Aftersales team.
Keeping up to date with the latest Hyundai automotive technology and training modules.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic/technician in a professional workshop environment.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
Attitude: A team player with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to learn and progress.
License: A full, valid UK driving license.
