We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong Reliability Engineer to join our team at Minffordd.
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to make a real impact in a business that’s transforming with pace, purpose and pride.
As Reliability Engineer, you’ll lead and continuously improve our site reliability strategy, ensuring maximum equipment availability, reduced downtime and world-class maintenance performance across the site.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement site-wide reliability and preventative maintenance strategies aligned with operational goals
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive long-term reliability improvements
- Optimise Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Provide technical leadership and support during breakdowns, fault-finding and major equipment failures
- Manage critical spare parts strategies, OEM relationships and contractor activities to ensure operational continuity
You’ll be joining a workplace where collaboration and curiosity are encouraged. Where questioning “how it’s always been done” is part of daily life. And where discovering better ways of working is simply what we do.
We want to work with people who are bold, ambitious and ready to shape the future — people who share our values and bring energy, ideas and commitment.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a reliability, maintenance or engineering leadership role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in fault finding, RCA and maintenance planning
- Experience working with OEMs, contractors and CMMS systems to improve engineering performance
- Behaviours aligned to our values: Be Better, Be Collaborative, Be Inquisitive, Be Yourself, Take Ownership
- HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Desirable experience includes:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis and thermography
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification
You’ll also be someone who is analytical, resilient and highly organised, with the confidence to lead technical decision-making and support engineering teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
Because we don’t just offer jobs — we shape careers.
Whether you’re just starting out, stepping up or bringing years of experience, we invest in our people so they can thrive and grow.
Here, you’ll find:
- Strong training foundations
- Clear, meaningful paths to progress
- A workplace where curiosity is celebrated
- A supportive, dynamic team environment
- A culture where continuous improvement is part of daily life
This is a place where you’ll feel empowered to make a change — and confident to take bold steps.
Are you a changemaker?
