Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Site Supervisor to support one of our key accounts, overseeing commercial furniture installations across multiple sites. This role requires a confident leader who can coordinate teams, liaise professionally with clients, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest of standards. Flexibility is essential, as a significant portion of work occurs outside normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising installation teams on site, ensuring safe working practices and adherence to RAMS and company procedures
- Acting as the primary on-site point of contact for the client, providing clear communication and professional representation
- Coordinating project timelines, reporting progress, and resolving issues quickly to keep works on schedule
- Reading and interpreting floorplans, installation guides, and technical drawings
- Overseeing the delivery, movement and assembly of commercial furniture and related products
- Carrying out quality checks, snagging, and final handover with the client
- Managing on-site resources, including labour, tools and materials
- Completing site documentation, including timesheets, reports, checklists and photographic records
- Supporting project managers with planning, sequencing and resourcing of upcoming works
- Upholding AMS Nationwide’s high standards of service, professionalism and client care
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial furniture installation or fit-out environments
- Demonstrable experience supervising teams or leading on-site operations
- Confident in client-facing situations with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and night shifts on a regular basis
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation plans
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Strong understanding of manual handling, site safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial or multi-site projects
- CSCS card or equivalent site accreditations
- Basic IT skills for reporting and documentation
- Experience coordinating subcontractors or external resources

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £17.00-£21.00 per hour
