We are currently seeking experienced Soft Floor Layers to join our growing team working across residential and commercial projects throughout London, home counties and Nationwide
The ideal candidates will have experience installing a range of soft flooring products to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of vinyl, cap & cove, safety flooring, carpet tiles & Broadloom, LVT, and sheet vinyl
- Floor preparation including latex and smoothing compounds
- Measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality finish
- Following site health & safety procedures
- Working efficiently to project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Soft Floor Layer
- Ability to fit a range of flooring products
- Own tools preferred
- CSCS card preferred
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently
Desirable
- Experience on commercial fit-out projects
- Own transport
