Main purpose of the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Land Planning Manager to join our Land Team in our Yorkshire East region, based from our regional office at Lakeside, Doncaster.
The main purpose of the Senior Land Planning Manager is to support the Land and Partnerships Director in the delivery of the regional business plan and land acquisition strategy for the region ensuring focus on planning strategy and delivery in accordance with the pre-development programme and enabling start on sites in line with Cap Ex forecasts and budgets. The successful candidate will work to pro-actively source, manage and progress land and partnership opportunities for the Regional Business to facilitate delivery of the Regional growth plans.
The Senior Land Planning Manager will be the key point of contact and take ownership for all planning matters in the region, including working with external stakeholders such as appointed planning consultants and Local Authorities, and internal stakeholders, leading on the planning element in Senior Leadership meetings and providing regular updates on existing land holdings and proposed future land purchases.

We are looking for someone who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward experienced Planning professional with strong financial and commercial acumen. Motivated and enthusiastic, they will be creative and used to working in a flexible and agile way within a senior Planning role to ensure we meet business outcomes. They will be collaborative with the ability to influence senior decision makers and present confidently at key meetings. A passionate leader with the ability to manage effectively across functional teams to motivate them to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have significant experience within a similar role in the housebuilding/consultancy industry, with proven experience in planning and land acquisition, strong understanding of the planning process, the NPPF and planning legislation.
