Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker to join our amazing team of walkers in providing exceptional care for our clients' beloved pets. The role involves walking dogs, ensuring their well-being, and delivering excellent customer service. Recent canine experience is essential, either as an experienced dog owner, or in a professional or voluntary capacity. Initially it will be to cover various dog walks (holidays etc) with a view to building up your own client base. Hours can’t be guaranteed; the majority of dog walks are from approximately 10.30am until 2.30pm.
Duties:
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety, well-being and enjoyment during outings according to company policy and owners requirements
Qualifications:
Canine experience is essential, either as an experienced dog owner, or in a professional or voluntary capacity.
· We cover the Barnsley area, so candidates should live within the Barnsley area
· Own transport and a full clean driver's license is essential
· This is a physically active job, so a degree of fitness is required - you don't need to run a marathon, but you should be able to walk (not saunter) for a couple of hours a day
· It is working outdoors, do not apply if you melt in rain and hate walking in the snow - we aren't fair-weather dog walkers
· A sturdy pair of shoes is essential
· It goes without saying, but I will say it any way - you must be trustworthy, punctual, professional, friendly, good at managing your time efficiently, able to self-manage and problem solve
· This is a self-employed position
Pay: £15.00 per hour
