We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained with experience of Setting CNC Turning machines in a precision environment. ***(We are also advertising for a trainee setter if your experience is limited but you have an eagerness to learn, please see Indeed)***
Sheldon Precision Engineering are a successful sub-contract precision turned parts company, established in 2014. We service a variety of Industries and have built a reputation on quality and reliability.
We are looking for someone with an eye for detail whom works in a methodical organised approach.
The responsibilities of the role include the following but are not exhaustive.
- Setting tools and getting the machine ready for a new part
- Running part around ready for first off inspection
- Completing first off inspection
- Optimising cycle time and process stability
- In process inspection and tool wear monitoring
- All associated operating duties
- You must be able to read CNC G-Code but programming is not essential and can be taught.
- Sliding head experience is not essential.
Terms
- Hours/Days of work Monday-Thursday 7.00-4.00, Friday 8-12(There is flexibility around these hours if your personal circumstances require this)
