Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a solid background in restaurant or hotel environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and manage a motivated team. Previous experience in food preparation, serving, and food safety is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front of house operations to ensure smooth daily service
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food presentation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen operations
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest enquiries efficiently
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area in compliance with health regulations
- Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timings
- Uphold the establishment’s standards for hospitality, professionalism, and presentation
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience in serving and hospitality environments, including hotel or barista experience preferred
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence
