Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across the establishment.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient working environment
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage food production schedules, inventory control, and procurement of ingredients
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting professional development and teamwork
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, maintaining high levels of organisation and efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Experience in menu development, food production, and restaurant operations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous hospitality experience, including serving customers and managing restaurant workflows is desirable
Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
