We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance painter and decorator to join our team.
This is a full-time permanent position and one which is responsible for the upkeep and appearance to a high standard across our property and venue portfolio
Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a valid driving licence to facilitate transportation to different sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and Braddicks Leisure standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and contractors regarding project progress.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repair work.
Experience
- Have proven experience and/or possess a qualification in painting and decorating.
- Good working knowledge of brands, materials and techniques is essential
- A valid and clean driving licence is essential to enable travel between sites efficiently.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to painting and decorating tasks is essential.
- Reliability and punctuality is a must
- Close attention to detail as well as completing work to a high standard is essential
