Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Trainee Engineer to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing and engineering while gaining hands-on experience across different areas of the production process.

The role includes training in manufacturing operations such as welding, packing, machine operation, assembly work, and general production support. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced staff to develop practical engineering and manufacturing skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with welding and basic fabrication tasks
Support packing and preparation of finished products for dispatch
Operate machinery and production equipment under supervision
Assist with assembly and manufacturing processes
Carry out quality checks on products and materials
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Support general factory and warehouse duties as required
Work with supervisors and engineers to improve production efficiency

Requirements

Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or production work
Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
Good teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Ability to work in a physically active environment
Previous factory, warehouse, or welding experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
