An exciting opportunity is now available for a Junior IT technician role with Ap.Rox IT Limited. Ap.Rox have been supporting the public and private sector since 2010. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping and supporting clients with IT problems and issues. The candidate must be self-motivated and will work with a good team to ensure clients needs are met. Candidates must hold a clean driving license (No endorsements) and be able to arrive to site daily. The candidate will be supporting clients throughout North Devon. An extended DBS check will be required and provided by Ap.Rox due to the working nature of some of our clients. Candidates will be exposed to a range of enterprise products and will learn a host of skills as they progress within the company.
Candidates must have the following qualities:
- Be confident using and supporting operating systems such as Windows 11, Apple OS and other Legacy platforms (Windows 7,8,10 etc.)
- Confident in PC hardware such as swapping HDD/SSDs, diagnosing hardware errors etc.
- Self motivated
- Good team player and the ability to work on your own
- Good communicator
- Good timekeeping skills
- A passion for technology
- Logical in their approach and thinking
- Prepared to ask questions if they don’t know the answers.
- Keen to progress their own personal develpoment
Skills which are a strong advantage:
- Able to diagnose basic network issues for end user devices (desktops, laptops, printers etc.)
- Active Directory, LDAP
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 – 2019
- Application Deployments
- Cloud Technologies (Office 365, G Suite etc.)
- Web development
- Linux Server
- Apple Products
- Adobe Creative Suite
Candidates will be supplied with all tools required to complete their job such as a laptop, M365 account, network tools etc. Further training opportunities will be available to progress your IT skillset.
Ap.Rox also offer employees time to work on their own internal development.
