Ticket Sales Representative (Outdoor Sales / Tout) – Cambridge (August/September Start or ASAP)

Are you confident, outgoing, and enjoy meeting people from around the world? Rutherford’s Punting is looking for friendly and motivated individuals to join our sales team.

As a Ticket Sales Representative (Tout), you will be working outdoors, engaging with customers, and promoting our punting tours. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where strong communication skills and a positive attitude are key. You’ll play an important part in creating a great first impression and ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they arrive.

Full training is provided, and this role offers a great opportunity to develop sales skills while working in a fun and social environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Selling tickets to customers in person
Engaging with potential customers and promoting punting tours
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving any issues
Maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions
Assisting with ticketing operations, including issuing and distributing tickets
Working with team members to meet sales targets and daily goals
Staying up to date with tour information, pricing, and promotions

Requirements & Experience:
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence working in a public-facing, outdoor environment
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Good organisational and basic numerical skills
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus

Training Provided:
Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.

Job Details:
Job Types: Temporary, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time, Fixed-term contract
Contract Length: 12 months
Pay: Competitive (plus commission opportunities)

Schedule:
Day shifts
Weekend availability
Overtime opportunities
Holiday work

Location Requirement:
Applicants must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Cambridge, CB5 8AQ before starting work.
