Full job description

Job Summary

We are a London based painting and decorating company looking for a competent and experienced painter and decorator that’s available to work in the Basingstoke area. This job will be for a duration of three weeks starting July 20th.

Daily rate is £160 plus tax.

Painter is required to bring their own tools.

Hours of work are from 8am to 4pm.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks to ensure a smooth base for painting or decorating
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Ensure colour matching and finish quality according to project specifications
Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures before commencing work
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is desirable
Good command of English language for effective communication with clients and team members
Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret instructions clearly
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

Pay: £150.00-£160.00 per day
