This is an exciting opportunity for graduates with a passion for young people and mental health, looking to build a career in education or related fields. We are seeking top graduates to work with young people aged 8-18, including special education and mental health education settings.
This opportunity offers an opportunity to work directly with young people affected by autism & severe trauma, within a unique school setting. You will be trained as a Learning & Care Support Assistant, supporting young people who require additional support in school. This opportunity is particularly relevant for individuals aspiring to enter into a career in psychology, education or mental health services.
This role also offers fantastic development - If you do not hold an equivalent qualification, with the support of our internal training department you will enrol into the Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma, and qualify within your first 2 years of employment.
The school is located in the Basingstoke area and supports a range of children, including those with a range of complex learning needs such as physical, sensory and behavioural. This role consists of 162.5 hours per month, working on a rolling 6-8 week shift patterns, with longer and shorter weeks. You will be working between the hours of 7:30am – 10pm. We have several positions available to start from June, July and September 2026 - you will be paid between £25,447 - £26,793 depending on your experience to date.
