Job Summary
Event Door Staff Required. This is an as needs position when we have large events.

We are seeking both male and female applicants who can travel to the Guildford area on event days/nights. Minimum 4 hour shift. Immediate start

We are seeking professional and vigilant Door Supervisors to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This role is crucial in upholding the safety standards of our organisation and providing a welcoming yet secure atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorised individuals gain access to the premises
Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner, managing any disruptive behaviour effectively
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring quick response to medical emergencies
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate relevant information to management promptly
Assist with crowd control during peak times or special events to ensure safety and orderliness
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards

Qualifications

Proven experience in door supervision is preferred
Valid first aid certification is desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain vigilant during long shifts and work effectively under pressure
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform security duties effectively
