Get out and about as a Volunteer Van Driver! Do you love being on the move and making a real difference? Join us as a Volunteer Van Driver and help keep our charity shops running smoothly!

You’ll play a vital role delivering and collecting donated items between our 27 charity shops and from customers’ homes, supporting us to raise vital funds for Hospice services.

When?

Wednesdays and/or Thursdays
Flexible hours to fit around you

What we offer:

Taster sessions so you can try the role before committing
Full training provided – you’ll be supported every step of the way
A friendly team and the satisfaction of helping your local community

What you’ll need:

A full driving licence (essential for this role)

St Gemma’s Hospice is a Leeds-based charity providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and via our day services, which include a Day Hospice and Out-Patient Department.

St Gemma’s welcomes and provides care to everyone regardless of people’s age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or diagnosis. Our care is always completely free of charge.

St Gemma’s is the largest hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in the UK.
