Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Yard Person to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the organisation and maintenance of the yard and delivering orders to customers.

The Driver/Yard Person will play a vital part in supporting our delivery and transportation activities.

Duties

Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles
Organise and maintain yard areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met
Operate vehicles for local deliveries, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
Assist with general maintenance tasks around the yard
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during yard operations

Requirements

Previous experience in delivery driving preferred
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physically fit to handle manual tasks such as lifting and manoeuvring goods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £31,250.00 per year
